Adam Scott is stepping into the director’s chair for the first time with the upcoming thriller titled ‘Double Booked’, as reported by Deadline. The film will also star the ‘Separation’ lead. Alongside Scott, the movie features Zazie Beetz (‘Joker’), Sterling K. Brown (‘Marshall’), and Alexandra Daddario (‘Wildflower’).

The plot revolves around a successful self-help author (Scott) and his pregnant wife (Beetz), who plan a weekend getaway at a charming lodge. However, their plans take a sinister turn when they encounter another couple (portrayed by Brown and Daddario) already staying in their cabin. A snowstorm forces the two couples to spend the night together, revealing that what seemed like a simple booking error is actually a deadly deception.

Penned by David Levinson, known for his work on the 2018 thriller ‘Welcome Home’, the script promises suspense and intrigue. Serving as producers are Adam Goodman and Matt Skiena for Dichotomy Creative Group, alongside Adam Scott and Naomi Scott for Great Scott Productions.

Scott expressed his excitement about the project, stating:

โ€œI couldnโ€™t be more excited to be working with Protagonist and Dichotomy to bring this audacious, crowd-pleasing, white knuckle thriller to the screen,โ€

added Scott.

โ€œIโ€™d been looking for something to direct for years, andย Double Bookedย checked all the boxes. Along with our unbelievable cast, I canโ€™t wait to make it and share it with the world.โ€

In ‘Double Booked’, expect a rollercoaster ride of suspense and tension, as Adam Scott ventures into the realm of directing, backed by a stellar cast and a gripping storyline. Stay tuned for updates on this highly anticipated thriller.
